Before Midnight (2013)

The Wolf of Wall Street (98)

There is something insanely beautiful about the “Before…” trilogy – they are made on a shoestring budget and are essentially long dialogues stringed together. But there’s something else – maybe it is the writing, maybe its the chemistry between the two leads, but Before Midnight is a beautiful film.

While nothing can beat the first film, Before Sunrise (nothing can, in my opinion), Before Midnight is just as beautiful, just as quirky and just as amazing as the preceding two films. The Greek setting for this film was absolutely spectacular, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. To have this set in the remote little Greek city, it is a wonderful change from the hustle and bustle of New York or Los Angeles (although I’d love to see one set here one day)

A beautiful film, with one of the best scripts in history.
